It’s time to hit the Upper James River for some awesome smallmouth bass fishing! This trip is super special because it’s 8 year old Cam’s first trip! This is day one of a camping and fishing adventure. We floated 4 miles from the Gala campground to the Craig Creek public access. This trip typically produces some fish, but this is the most we’ve ever caught on on this section! AND we caught some BIG ONES! multiple smallmouth over 16″.
