Starlink Team Series | Heritage Cup | Normandy Lake | Knockout Match 1 Highlights

Check out some of the MLFNOW! livestream highlights from Knockout Match 1 of Toyota Heritage Cup Presented by OFF!® Deep Woods® Repellents, the second of four events in the third year of the Starlink Team Series Presented by Bass Pro Shops.

Three teams hit new water with Knockout Match 1 taking place on Normandy Lake. Michael Neal and Wesley Strader of Team Lucas Oil ran away with the lead, finishing atop SCORETRACKER® with 23 pounds, 9 ounces on 13 scoable bass.

Meanwhile, it was looking like a tie-breaker would be the deciding factor in who would advance to Friday’s Championship Round as lines out approached. Then, the second- and third-place teams rapidly exchanged punches and criss-crossed the elimination line.

Ultimately, Team Star brite’s Chris Lane and Bobby Lane pulled through with 17-15 on nine scoable bass. Takahiro Omori and Dean Rojas of Team Lowrance put up a good fight but are going home after placing third with 16-12 on nine scorable bass.

Heritage Cup action continues tomorrow with the next batch of the teams hitting Normandy Lake for Knockout Match 2 on the MLFNOW! livestream from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT at MajorLeagueFishing.com, the MLF and MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) apps and the Major League Fishing channel on Rumble. In addition, the final hour of each day of competition will be broadcast live from 4-5 p.m. ET on RFD-TV, and each event will also be featured in a series of six original, two-hour episodes set to premiere on Outdoor Channel in the first quarter of 2027.
