St Clair Bass Fishing Report #17 08 21 2026 Summer Smallmouth

Once you see this summer smallmouth bass catching pattern, you can’t unsee it. Once you narrow down the tournament quality smallmouth zone, it’s time to hold ’em, not fold ’em. There were some disappointments this week, but finding miles of good water for big smallies made up for that. This is a pattern I took to other areas of the Lake, and succeeded as well! Are you on top of smallmouth that won’t bite, this fishing report may have the answer to turn that around!
