BIG FISH Takes My FISHING ROD | CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE

A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO JERRON AND JOHN FOR HELPING ME RETRIEVE MY ROD AND REEL 🙏🏼 While fishing a Deep hole in the tennessee river using cutbait…I notice that my fishing pole was sliding at a high rate of speed into the river before I could get to it.(I had my rod pinned in between 2 metal poles) From that point I decided to use another rod and reel of mines to retrieve it. I tied on a 4oz egg weight with a hook on the bottom and cast it in the general area of where my lost rod and reel were. After 20 minutes of doing that NO LUCK… after a small prayer, and a couple more cast 😲 my prayer was answered… around 80 yards away I hooked up with my other pole. The river is mostly flat and sandy in this area that helped also with my success. Also when I grabbed my fishing pole from the boater that helped me, the fish was still on the other end, I thought i was hung (WOW) I’ve never in all my years FELT POWER LIKE THIS ON A FISHING POLE. There is monsters living below the tennessee river… TRUST ME.
