Sega Bass Fishing on Xbox: A Full Tournament Day

Sega Bass Fishing on Xbox: a calm, complete day at the lake in tournament mode, plus arcade rounds and a few big catches.

No fast cuts here: I stay at one spot and show whole catches, from the cast and the wait for the bite to the fight, the line tension and the weigh-in. In this video: a tournament day from morning to evening, a special lure (Suspend Minnow), a huge bass, a line that almost breaks, two-minute arcade rounds, and the original 4:3 picture next to 16:9 widescreen. Recorded on my Xbox Series X with a normal controller.

Good to know: the arcade original from 1997 was called Get Bass in Japan and was built by Sega AM1 on the Model 3 board. The Dreamcast version (1999) added a tournament mode, four extra stages and came with a rod-shaped fishing controller. The Xbox Live Arcade version followed in October 2011.
