35 Bass & 10 Keepers! | Lake of the Ozarks Fishing Report | September 29, 2026

Billy is back in the boat, and we found some bass! We launched at Pa He Tsi and fished the Grand Glaize area of Lake of the Ozarks, working banks, points, wood, and boat docks.

We finished with 35 bass, 10 keepers, and a best-five bag of 10.1 pounds. Billy took big-fish honors with a 2.47-pound largemouth in the afternoon. No $100,000 prize, despite what you hear in the video! 😂

🎣 TRIP CONDITIONS & RESULTS
• Time on the water: 8:35 a.m.–3:01 p.m.
• Duration: 6 hours, 26 minutes
• Water temperature: 78°F
• Air temperature: 62–86°F
• Sky: Partly cloudy
• Wind: South at approximately 7 mph
• Water: Stained
• Total bass: 35
• Keepers: 10
• Best-five bag: 10.1 pounds
• Biggest bass: Billy’s 2.47-pound largemouth

🎣 WHAT WORKED
• 5-inch PBJ worm: 17 bass, including 5 keepers.
• 5-inch green pumpkin/watermelon worm: 7 bass, including 2 keepers.
• White swimbait: 7 bass around boat docks, including 2 keepers.
• Small black Whopper Plopper: 2 bass along the banks.
• Green pumpkin worm on a shaky head: 1 bass, a keeper.
• 5-inch Bama Craw worm: 1 bass.

The PBJ worm accounted for nearly half our fish and half our keepers. White swimbaits produced around docks, while green pumpkin/watermelon worms delivered two late keepers for Billy, including the biggest bass of the day. As we said in the boat, “Crush City is killing it!”

We caught 27 fish along the banks, 7 around boat docks, and 1 from a laydown. Several flurries kept things interesting: three keepers between 10:13 and 10:35 a.m., then two more for Billy just eight minutes apart at 2:12 and 2:20 p.m.

Enjoy the selected catch highlights, a little friendly competition, and another good day on the water with Mid Missouri Angling!

🤝 A SPECIAL THANK-YOU TO TACKLEMAX
We met the owner of TackleMax and his daughter during this trip. He was very friendly and generously gave us some free lures to try. We enjoyed meeting them, appreciated their generosity, and look forward to putting those baits to work!
