New October 1, 2026 1 views

Mike Long was once considered one of the greatest trophy bass fishermen in America. Then a hidden camera changed everything.
For years, Long built an incredible reputation catching giant largemouth bass, setting lake records, winning fishing tournaments, and appearing in major fishing publications. But behind those unbelievable catches, suspicion was growing.

In this fishing documentary, we examine the Mike Long bass fishing scandal, the allegations surrounding tournament cheating and disputed records, and the years-long investigation led by Kellen Ellis. Most importantly, we break down the hidden-camera footage from Lake Poway that finally showed what was happening when Mike Long thought nobody was watching.

How much of the legendary career was real? And how did one fisherman fool so many people for so long?
