Lake of the Ozarks Bass Fishing – 24 Aug 2026 | Fishing report

We launched out of Pa He Tsi on Lake of the Ozarks on 24 August 2026 and had one of our best numbers days of the year.

We fished from 0708 to 1408 with water temps from 83 to 86 degrees, air temps from 65 to 87, partly cloudy skies, a south wind around 8 mph, and slightly stained water.

We ended the day with 52 fish, 5 keepers, 42.1 pounds total recorded weight, and a best five weighing 10.1 pounds.

The story of the day was the white swimbait. It caught 46 of our 52 fish and produced 4 of the 5 keepers. The main pattern was breakwater, which produced 30 fish, with boat docks as the secondary pattern.

The biggest fish of the day was a 2.77-pound keeper caught by Mark at 1054 on the white swimbait. Billy also caught a 2.43-pound keeper on the swimbait, and our only non-swimbait keeper came early on a 5-inch PBJ worm.
