How we found bass on this empty beach

One of the UK’s longest beaches. One mission.

This trip took Jamie Muir and myself to Luce Bay, southwest Scotland with one goal: help Jamie catch his first-ever bass.

Rather than covering miles of coastline, we spent time reading the conditions—looking at the wind, the tide, and the features of the beach to decide where the fish were most likely to be. Once we’d made our choice, it was time to put our plan to the test.

To give ourselves the best chance, we dug our own fresh bait before settling in to wait and see if we’d made the right call.

Would the preparation pay off? Did Jamie finally land his first bass?

Join me for another day on the Scottish coast as we put local knowledge, fresh bait, and a bit of patience to the test.

If you enjoy UK sea fishing, bass fishing, beach fishing, or learning how to read the conditions, I’d love to have you along.

If you enjoy the video, please leave a comments, perhaps let me know how you would have approached fishing Luce Bay.
