How to Fish a Swim Jig: 3 Trailers You Need to Know

In this video, I break down one of my favorite ways to catch bass — the swim jig.

I’ll show you how I rig my swim jig, how I fish it, and most importantly, how I decide which trailer to use. I rotate between three trailers most of the time:

Boot-tail swimbait — when I want more kicking action and vibration
Hog Farmer Spunk Shad — when I want a tighter, more subtle action
Double-tail grub — when I want a bigger profile and a different look

I’ll explain when and why I choose each one, then take it to the water and show you the swim jig in action with a few fish catches.

Choosing the right trailer can completely change the way your swim jig looks, feels, and comes through the water. Sometimes that small adjustment is all it takes to get more bites.
