Fly Fishing Largemouth Bass on Nebraska’s Middle Loup River

In this video, I head to Nebraska’s beautiful Middle Loup River to target largemouth bass on a fly rod, something you almost never see. The Middle Loup is one of the cleanest and most scenic rivers in Nebraska, winding through the Sandhills with crystal-clear water, wildlife everywhere, and surprisingly good bass fishing.

There’s just something different about sight-fishing bass in shallow river water with a fly rod. Every fish eats differently, every cast matters, and it’s one of the most fun ways I’ve ever chased largemouth.
