I spent the day on North Carolina’s Pasquotank River targeting cypress trees with a simple flipping setup and found a consistent summer bass pattern. The action wasn’t fast and furious, but the fish that were biting were using the same type of cover, making for a great day of pattern fishing.

In this video, I break down the areas I targeted, the cover that produced bites, and how I used a flipping presentation to catch bass relating to cypress trees during the summer.
