KAYAK FISHING NEAR OLD PIER FOR STRIPERS

Out kayak fishing for striped bass! In this video, I’m targeting stripers around an old pier made of concrete and wood, casting a 6-inch Z-Man Swimbait on a 1 oz jighead and trolling along the pier structure.

Working the area with a combination of casting and trolling produces some action, and I manage to hook into a few schoolie striped bass along the way!

Structure fishing from the kayak is always an exciting way to target stripers. You never know what might be holding around those old pilings!
