This adventure started the night before. I set up camp in my rooftop tent right by the water so I could roll out of bed and hit the pond before sunrise. There’s just something different about those quiet mornings when the fog is on the water and the fish are feeding.

It didn’t take long before the bass started biting, and we put together an awesome morning catching fish—including a solid 4-pound largemouth! If you enjoy bass fishing, camping, overlanding, and the outdoors, you’re in the right place.
