Lake Fisherman Tries River Fishing… It Gets CHAOTIC! 😂

I’m used to fishing lakes, where I can load my kayak down with rods, tackle, and gear and pretty much have everything I could possibly need.

Then I took that same setup to the Collins River… and quickly found out river fishing is a completely different game. 😂

I’ve got rods everywhere, gear getting in the way, current moving me around, and when I finally hook a smallmouth, the fish comes off right at the kayak and disappears into all the chaos.

This video is less of a “how-to” and more of a perfect example of a lake fisherman learning the hard way that you probably need to simplify your setup before hitting a river.

Sometimes fishing doesn’t go smoothly—and those are usually the trips that make the best videos.
