Catching Early Spring Bass on Jigs and Chatterbaits! Two double ups in a row!

On a 4 day stretch of fishing and working, on my way home from the Shenandoah river my buddy Jae texted me and invited me out on his boat to fish Barcroft. Running on fumes, I still couldn’t say no and I’m glad I didn’t. We got out for 5 hours and smoked em! Had a blast catching decent sized bass with Lake Barcroft’s best guide. Jigs, spinnerbaits, and the “Strykul Special” AKA a keitech on a skirtless chatterbait did some work on the fish. The majority of them were hanging tight to cover in 4-8 feet of water on wooded windy banks.
Spring is nearly here and all I can say is that I am READY for some huge bass and a good jig bite.
