White Swimbait = Cheat Code? Arkansas River Bridge Went OFF

Is the white swimbait a cheat code on the Arkansas River? Saturday morning under the bridge I found out.

5 largemouth, 2 stripers on the Ugly Stik + Lew’s running 20lb braid, then a bass and a longear sunfish on the fly rod with a home-tied white wooly bugger. All came on the same setup.

WHAT I USED SATURDAY:

Rod: Ugly Stik GX2 6’6” Medium

Reel: Lew’s Speed Spool LFS

Line: 20lb braid

Lure: 6th Sense 4” white paddle tail swimbait

Jighead: Berkley white fish head jig, 4/0 hook, ∼1/4oz

Fly: Home-tied white woolly bugger

The Arkansas River bridge was on fire 7-9 AM. White was the ticket.
