6 Baits That Catch Bass in October

New September 29, 2026 24 views

October bass are roaming, chasing baitfish, and feeding aggressively—but you need the right baits tied on to keep up with them. In this video, I break down 6 bait categories that catch bass in October, from fast-moving search baits to a slower presentation that helps clean up the remaining fish after the aggressive bite fades.

You’ll learn when to throw walking topwaters, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, vibrating jigs, and a Neko rig, plus how water clarity, cover, baitfish size, depth, and activity level should change your approach. Start fast, find the fish, then slow down and catch the ones you missed.
