How to Fish a Swimbait in Summer | Ledges, Grass & Rigging Tips

In this video, I’m breaking down how I fish a swimbait during the summertime, especially around offshore ledges and shallow grass.

For ledge fishing, I’ll show you how I rig a swimbait on an exposed-hook swimbait head and how I work it when targeting deeper bass.

When I’m fishing around grass, I switch to an EWG belly-weighted hook with a screw lock. That setup keeps the swimbait weedless and helps it come through the grass without constantly hanging up.

I’ll also show you some real fish catches from previous trips so you can see how I work both setups, what kind of cover I’m targeting, and what I’m looking for before I make a cast.
