SMOKED BY A FIRST LIGHT MONSTER! O'Sullies Breakwater 24.8.26

G’day lads, After another week of less than exciting fishing, I had th itch for an early morning mission back at the breakwater on the hunt for a big fish before the rain using large soft plastics and jerk baits.

Got absolutly smoked by a b ig fish on first light and lost it, id say a 7inch plastic was too large for a salmon mouth considering how far up the plastic the recommended hook size sits… Could have been a small soapy as there was no head shakes just straight power!
Had some fun with a temu special 185mm floating jerkbait and to end the session got a troutie on the shimano flash bolt. Hope you enjoy fellas
