Aussie vs American: Summer Swimbait Fishing

Summertime bass fishing in Minnesota with an Australian, a box full of Throwback Baits swimbaits, and one of the owners of Throwback Baits, Billy.

I flew over from Australia to spend some time fishing in the USA, and this trip definitely hasn’t been the easiest. The bass fishing has been a bit of a grind, but we’re sticking with the big swimbaits and trying to figure out these Minnesota summertime bass.

In this video, Billy and I spend the day throwing Throwback Baits swimbaits and chasing bass during the Minnesota summer. Fishing new water in a completely different part of the world has been a pretty cool experience, even if the fish haven’t exactly made things easy.
