Bass fishing Lake Marion, FL – Boom or Bust?!

I took a trip out to Lake Marion in Haines city, Florida this past weekend. This is a new lake for me and I’ve hear many good things about it so I was eager to try it out. We launched at the public ramp on the south end. There was tons of grass which isn’t a bad thing!

The morning started very slow and they mad just work for that bite. once the hot sun was up I moved in to the docks to target all structure and shade.

Let me know if you have any experience on this lake and if you would do something different!
