Bass Fishing in 100°+ Heat… It Was Worth Every Minute!
The day after the 4th of July, I hit my local Maryland lake to hunt snakeheads early and then go deep for the bass. The snakeheads just weren’t cooperating.
As usual, I ran to the deep weedlines for largemouth bass. It paid off immediately! The bass were stacked up, and I found myself catching quality fish in some steaming HOT summer conditions. Of course the drop shot technique did the damage and the 6″ morning dawn Roboworm made it happen.
With heat index values climbing over 100°F, the conditions were brutal! It got so hot that both of my GoPro cameras overheated and shut down before my sign out fish came to the boat.
