🎣AZ Kayak Summer Slam at Bartlett Lake | 2 Rods, Plastics Only & a TOUGH Bite! ⭐

The AZ Kayak Summer Slam brought us to Bartlett Lake with one simple challenge: 2 rods and plastics only. Sounds easy… until the fish decide they don’t want to cooperate!

Using Livescope, I was able to find plenty of bass throughout the day, but convincing them to bite was another story. After making adjustment after adjustment, I finally fooled one with a 4-inch curly tail worm on a dropshot rig. Sometimes that’s all it takes to avoid getting skunked.

While some anglers managed to put together solid bags and found the quality fish, this tournament reminded me that seeing fish is only half the battle—getting them to commit is the real challenge.
