For Father’s day, I was given the gift of the Zebco Omega Pro Z03 spincast reel and the GX2 casting rod. I am a new angler, and I am learning how to fish along side my kids. In this video, I show clips from my first week of bass fishing in the freshwaters of Minnesota Lakes using the rod and reel. This reel is made of metal, casts far and retrieves wonderfully. I highly recommend it to anyone just starting out or lookin for something simple and easy to use. You will be able to catch great fish with it. The Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 Casting rod was inexpensive, sensitive, and strong. It has a nice feel to the grip and balanced well with the reel.
