  1. Love your content so down to earth. I have fished in Florida for over sixty years and a speed worm is my premier search bait all year long. Only rig I use is a Florida rig with a straight shank hook! Thanks for all you do.

  2. Yum makes the Swim'n Dinger as well as the Thump'n Dinger. The former is worm with a paddle tail, and the latter has a flat, U-shaped tail. They work great and aren't pricey. The other day I was drop-shotting, and I used a Thump'n Dinger on the bottom weedless with a Ned head and a minnow on top. Both hooked up (but not at the same time).

Edited to add: They are kinda skinny, tho. Not like the big ones in your vid.

  3. I have several rods dedicated to specific techniques that have the same bait tried on 365 … rat-l-trap, big EZ, stick bait, punch rig and a speed worm …I'm not a big lure junkie but I do have 2 entire Plano 3700 boxes dedicated to just speed worms …

  4. Before the speed worm became known (to us anyway) we would take the regular paddle tail and cut that groove into the tail. This was on the Kissimmee Chain and Harris Chain of lakes. We even used the hole punches to get crazy action on the tails….this was back in the early 90’s. That tail action is amazing and yes many companies make it but my go to is the Zoom.

  5. It’s tough watching this 😂 quads out on the lake ice fishing today. I can’t take it any longer watching you in a t-shirt with weeds growing. Hopefully we’ll be out in March fingers crossed.
