In todays video I fish the first of 6 bass fishing tournaments that will be on the channel this year on the Cass Lake Chain in north central Minnesota. The wind blew, the anglers fished and the fish did not bite.
It was honestly a mentally challenging day. I wanted to share the video to show these kinds of days do happen and that they are something you can get through with patience. I did find some smaller fish in shallow backwater areas that were biting frogs but basically every spot i found in prefishing didnt pan out too well. I also had my boat get blown into another boat due to my lack of thinking ahead before the tournament started and a tire blow up on the way home. So 100% a tough way to start the year.
