In this fishing video I will teach you how an MLF FLW bass tournament angler won 100k in a fishing tournament catching bass from brushpiles. The technique involves a wide range of fishing lures from jigs, to texas rigged soft plastic worms, to swimbait and focuses on using sonar like my Lowrance HDS Live to target isolated offshore structures to catch bass. I will teach you how to look at your sonar to catch fish from brushpiles, what some of the best fishing lures are to catch bass using this technique, and some simple tips and tricks that will help any beginner angler that wants to learn to catch bass.

That was awesome to watch, keep up the good work. I have a pair of Humminbird 997 units. The side Imaging is really clear, but my 2D sonar images are not. Any tips for this?
I still haven't got a chance to tie on a drop shot it's not very useful when your bank fishing lol, oh I just used that mag ned set upand killed it thanks mikey
Oh and dude I thank you have some super fans on down the comments lol
It is so crazy that you fish guntersville lake man, I live in Indiana and my aunt and cousin's moved to guntersville when we were kids and they live right on the levy by the dog food plant in the mill village. I go there all the time and have still not gotten a chance to fish that awesome lake
Please my channel of watch time no compleet please my help and one comment please
That dropshot catch had me sweating! Pig!
Up here on Ozark lakes we target brush piles daily. Our highland reservoirs are all rock and wood with no grass. Can't beat a jig or a brush hog if you need to put it into the pile. In the winter time running an A rig over the top of them will get your arm pulled off.
mikey, thanks for your reply, you probably thought what a moron, why would he post a question like that to me on a fishing video? rest assured that was posted to Team Marine Service and how it got to your website is beyond me.LOL I do enjoy your videos, keep up the good work and i'm not really the ditz brain thats been out in the sun to long.
Hope you can offer some help. To start with, returning to the dealer has not helped, they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Problem : Have 2020 200hp ProXS on a 1998 Ranger R91 20footer. Turning 5200 RMP on smart craft gauge running 67 in ideal conditions with a 26 Fury.Tried a 23 Fury and 23 Tempest Plus RPMs went to only 5500 and speed dropped to 65.Has a great hole shot.No jack plate, dealer recommends a 8"jack plate. Boat ran 72 with a 2014 Proxs 2 stroke same prop and 5800RPMs. Only wish to get same performance with the 4 stroke any suggestions??
I appreciate any tips you have any time you want to give them! Thanks!
I feel like I should just send you 10% of my Tournament winnings since you taught me so much
Great video ! I love the in depth talk !
Is all of your side scan graphing done at idle speed? I've seen the transducer can be mounted high and it only works that way or low when it can work both ways. Thanks!
Really great stuff man! Telling all the juice!
Had to leave could not take a second more of that shit music!
Awesome video! It always seems like when I see bass in clear water ( which is hardly ever) they always are behind the branches facing towards the trunk of the brush. Does this hold true or do you find they face the current? Most brush piles I run into are from hurricane debris and are shallow. Water is always very stained/tannic. Would this be a good scenario to throw a crankbait/ lipless?
Bigs only .com…😂😂😂
Bigbalzz.com is available. Go for it.
Great video
I feel like you could make a whole video on side imaging alone, Florida lakes don't have those screenshots of tall submerged trees that they advertise on all the packaging. So how subtle are we talking when you come across stuff on open flat sandy bottom and how far out are you scanning(40 ft, 100,300)?
Legend!!!! Thanks for this man 😎
Mikey how many times do you scan over a pile to see if there is bait before you fish them and if there isn’t to much bait do you still fish them?
