4100 fishermen have signed up.
I’m sure it would be a great tournament trail, but then there would be the transgender people demanding to be able to compete wearing a thong under her/he/its tutu. I just don’t know, heck it may have a following 🤦♂️
I used to like seein the women’s tour. I’d watch it.
I occasionally see them on the waters that I fish, but it’s maybe like once or twice a year.
Most women simply don't care for bass fishing. I base this on the answers I've got from all the women I've asked. All the women in my family, a lot of women I've met over my lifetime, and several women I've met at the boat ramp while they were putting their boats in or out of the water. I've never seen a female putting in a Bass boat but always power boats or pontoons or whatever but never a Bass boat. Or any kind of fishing boat. So, in my own experience, they just don't care for it. And that's fine with me. 👍🇺🇸
I head out to Tennessee every year on my annual “man trip” for a few day’s of bass fishing and catching up with friends that moved out there 30 years ago to escape California. All that said, bunch of those boys out there tell me of a young lady that is winning 100 boat tournament’s on a regular basis… she won 3 in a year. At $15-$30 thousand for first place, she’s doing pretty damn good for herself… hopefully she takes it to the next level 🎣
If you want to see more women in bass tournaments then just make a public announcement that they aren't allowed to enter them……then stand back and watch ! 😅
What a nut….Just had to go there….now all us Old Fart's gonna pay lol…..
I haven't thought about this for a longtime,I believe it was 08,just a guess,I was going to fish as a co,but said I would be a boater if needed,I believe it was a trail event, well I got one of the women who travels with her husband, they were retired from a successful business, had the income to play,he was a pro and she loved fishing, great match,as the day went on,we were catching fish, got along great,I asked her if she would fish as a pro,she said hell no,it's hard enough as a co,I have a marriage, what are we going to do?Haul two boats, just to hard, people don't realize what it takes, she said I know everyday what it takes,I like where I'm at in fishing, there were a couple more things I won't mention, but use your imagination what they might be,it was a great learning experience, great subjects OSB.
The obvious answer to why there isn't more women bass fishing is simply because they don't want to.
If they actually WANTED TO then nothing (and I mean NOTHING) could stop them.
I wondered what happened to the Bassin' Gals series.
remember april vokey in the got world got basically ran out due to sexual objectification and harassment etc and not only she did ever do any sort of sexual suggestive type stuff she was legit as hell and educated the public with good content on fishing hunting homesteading etc still treated like crap
i think it comes down to men considering fishing a “mens spaces” this they feel invaded and women just have to deal with more just to exist in the space and a lot just don’t wanna deal with it
Kim Bayne Moore almost won the bassmaster classic
Mary satterfield
I look at womens butt thumbnails the same way I look at clickbait thumbnails. They're both looking to make money.
Women might not want to sacrifice the time away from their families like men. And if they start trying to make it in fishing early then they decide to have a family, it could create all kinds of problems with sponsors etc. Having said that I don't see why women can't compete, assuming they want to put in the same time and sacrifice.
I meant Penny Berryman , She was a amazing fisherwoman. Grand lady gone to soon
