Today we’re doing some winter fishing from a boat and we’re catching largemouth bass, white bass, and skipjack. Finding warm water in the winter can determine if you are going to catch anything or not. I tried fishing with crankbaits, spoons, even live worms. I caught more fish on the artificial lures than I did the live bait. The bigger fish came on the red eye shad, but all of the lures worked with some success. Hopefully you get a chance to fish from a boat in the winter. It can be challenging and fun at the same time.

When the Tilapia were still around you could walk across the boats at the mouth of the creek.
Did are you sake is so are you have my herpes or
1:15 no matter how small the fish is it’s bad for there jaw holding them like that just put your pinky on there stomach (not hateing just saying)
so is it common for people in your area to winterize your boat? I'm from midwest and most people usually put up their boats for winter and I do the same but would like to fish all year just didn't know if it was dangerous for the boat with water freezing in the motor and all
If you hold your breath, you can hear a catfisher cry in the distance every time Alex threw a skipjack back.
Some good action there Alex! Here's wishing you a great 2020 full of big fish! Keep on keeping it real my friend!
Hey man I live in White House tn I would like to go fishing with you sometime if I could
Greetings from Long Island ny!
Man you should have been fishing that big beautiful bluff wall with that lipless.
Never heard of a skip jack until your show. They look fun to catch when the bass aren’t interested. Nice video!
Man your the best I want to thank you for all the fishing knowledge
Catfish Dave would love those big skipjacks.
Is that the new Xmas gift baitcasting reel?
Nice day on the lake and Happy New Year.
Those skipjacks looks like shad from where I live. There’s a river they go to during spawning season and all you really need to catch them is a pink crappie jig head. They’re pretty fun to catch with ultralite gears. Also good striper bait
You just gave me the urge to go fish with something shiny, we’ll see if one bites.
Skipjacks look fun to catch!
I suck at winter fishing lol. But enjoy watching someone else catch something. Keep it up!
Another great video
Would've actually like to have seen you keep the skipjacks for a catfishing video. Lol
Nice job in the tough conditions. I've pretty much wrapped it up for 2019 until it warms up a bit. Tight lines for 2020 Alex!
Small fish are always better than no fish
