Went out and it was 47 degrees when i got on the water. Was throwing some damiki rigs, football jigs, deep cranking, finally got bit on the 5 inch swimbait but he hit it from behind and the tail folded into the hook so he didn’t get hooked on that. After a few more casts I through a vision 110 and got him in the net on that cast. The value of the pause, I didn’t fish the jerk slow at all for some reason throughout the day and that probably cost me another bite or 2.
