  1. Really appreciate these videos. Northeast guy. I watched some of your magdraft videos and started to catch fish immediately. Ive purchased and slept on the sleepers 😂for a bit and was wondering the how, what, and where to fish these as a northern guy. Thanks for posting these!

  2. The Dark Sleeper is probably the best lure I have used in the Great Lakes region, ever. I have caught fish in various bodies of water in all kinds of situations with the Sleepers and it seriously works everywhere. It really became my go-to bait this year – everything up here hates gobies and wants to kill them, but you can also mimic really any baitfish with these and mix up the retrieves so much. Can't say enough good things about these!

  3. Sure, it's a good lure! Smaller 3/8 size (2.4") casts further than little bit bigger 1/2 size (3") cuz of air resistance. Smallies are ok but if good size Largemouth Bass jumps above water and shakes its head, often it spits out this lure with that one hook from its mouth. To put small size treble follow that one lure's hook, would help to get more Largies but it also would damaged fish more. This is just my opinion and I could be wrong. Btw, Nathan, thank you for awesome videos!

  4. I gotta say, I made a pretty silly mistake when purchasing. I thought 1/2 ounce would be heavy compared to my 3/8 jighead swimbait but I forgot to add the weight of the swimbait. The entire megabass sleeper being a half ounce is noticeably lighter in the water vs my ballhead rigs. It may be the design of the bait but it seems to climb the water column at a pretty confusing rate… at least to me.

  5. you're cranking out these videos Nathan, and I love it! Great info on some techniques I've just never gotten into up until now. Thanks, you're deserving of quick growth in subscribers!!!

  6. I have 2-3 of them throw them a little bit never got bit so I kinda stopped but yet I bought a pack of the Berkeley agent E lol but this coming yr I’m gunna try and throw them a lot in the Susquehanna it’s pretty much in my back yard lol mostly where I go for smallmouth

  7. Finally a yt that’s close to me actually same state I’m just northeast and I can actually relate to what your throwing baits when your throwing them I mean I’ve been watching your channel for a bit but can’t wait for more this coming yr

  8. I'll have to try jigging them, it was my #3 fish catching lure this year fishing it like a swimbait. I caught a lot of largemouth this summer burning them over weed beds as well. Some of my biggest fish large and small mouth were on the 3/4 Oz and my biggest 2 saugeyes were on the 3/4 Oz. and I got a 42" muskie on the 3/4..That beefier profile is great for big fish.

  9. It’s this time of year I start to go through my tackle and clean things up. I re-scent my plastics and rejuvenate them, keeping them oily. It is also that time of year I start to investigate a few new lures that I want to teach myself to fish successfully. I imagine lakes & locations I think I will be most effective.
I appreciate your insight and information. Thank You God Bless and Merry Christmas.🎄

  10. Want to improve production. Improve your background, and get a ring light. Much cheaper and far more effective than a huge camera and “L” glass.
Use f1.8 or lower to separate you from the background. Plus some post-exit presets or LUTs to add dynamic colour contrasts in the highlights, Mids and shadows. Maybe play with reflector to for some bounce fill light

  11. Great video!! Like the new camera work! I tried the Dark Sleeper but wasn't sure how to fish it but now I do. Any thoughts on the Berkley Agent E?? Maybe I'll bump into on the water this year on the rivers??? Merry Christmas & a Blessed New Year!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!

  12. You need to throw this in the water and show us how you catch fish with it and if it works or not. Not just talk about it. That doesn’t help us so please in the future, go ahead and make some videos you fishing in and showing us that it really does work or not.

  13. Great Video …. I have thrown these Dark Sleepers off an on in the central pa lakes but with not much success …Need to throw them more to figure out how to present them best as I don't believe they are thrown much in my area.

  14. Seems like an awesome bait. But i have fished this for a few years on Hartwell and cannot get bit on it. Knowing the fish on are the proper structure using Active Target. Turn right around and throw a shaky head or texas rig and they will react. Just haven't figured out why.

  15. Great video, the only things that I think are important to note is that the 3/4oz size profile is the exact same as the 1/2oz, and also that these are the best skipping bait on the market. You can absolute send these things flying and skip them m like 100ft under a dock

  16. Thanks Nathan. Bought 2 a year ago and haven't tried them yet. Oddly the colors I bought (both 1/2oz) are the same 2 you shown.
The first thing I thought was pitching docks and smallmouth flats. I will make sure they get tried in 23.

  17. Thanks again for a very informative and well-spoken video. I'm definitely going to pick up some of these lures. I appreciate what you do, Merry Christmas, and God bless!

  18. Just wanted to say

That’s great news about you focusing more on YouTube BUT

Your videos are already great bro. You could film all of them with an IPhone and it wouldn’t make a difference to me, it’s the quality of information that I feel I am getting that makes the channel and I’ve been following everyone from TacticalBassin to Randy Blaukat for years now.

Ur doing a great job and I think one major thing that you add to your technique descriptions in videos is talking about the actual species that it’s working with.

Too many guys out there giving great info but sometimes the technique just doesn’t translate to all the species of bass, especially during a particular time of year. So thank you for that and good luck this year!

  19. Hey Nate. good stuff have use this one for two seasons and have caught a few fish but it’s not very durable but the agent E by Berkeley is far more durable and you can do the same thing with it. Give it a try
