Why Local Fishermen CURSE Big Bass Boat Tournaments on Our Lakes and Rivers
The proof is in the pudding. We’ve all seen the effects of big bass boat tournaments on our lakes and rivers for years. The more popular lakes have more tournaments where the evidence is easier to see. All that said, Bull Shoals lake still has loads of bass in it, but over the years the number of big bass has dwindled considerable. I see nothing wrong with sport fishing or harvesting bass for the table, but killing them needlessly just doesn’t seem sustainable.
