its so interesting how cathing a ten pounder works. within 4 months i had caught a 12 lbs bass in a pond. i feel like it starts to become a lot of luck sometimes when it comes to targeting large bass in bodies of water. in my 2 acre pond i have caught 7lbs 8 10 and 12 lbs bass within my first 6 months of bass fishing. i feel so grateful that i am on such a gifted pond it frustrates me to see people that work so hard like tyler to not hook into a 10 for so long while people undeserving for me are able to catch multiple double digits in a few months. Keep up the great work and i hope you keep hokin into monsters!

Thanks Tyler for coming to my hometown lake of lake ivie. Large bass and large catfish in that lake. Come back next January or February and you will catch a record. It's been done the last 2 yrs atraight. Back in February someone caught a world record mean mouth bass. Thanks again for coming.

Everyone should be releasing any big bass they catch. To pull a big bass out of that specific ecosystem is extremely stupid in my eyes! It takes long time for bass to get that big & not all bass have the genes to get that big so you would be pulling those genes from future generations! Replica of fish mounts are done so well these days, plus they will last forever & real mount will eventually fall apart. I wish everyone did release all big girls back. Get couple pictures & measurements & weight then release them. Have a replica made… I'm working on my double digit largemouth. Really trying this year to get it. Just got a 7 last weekend & an 8. 5 a little while ago. Getting close but not there yet
Awesome vid, to be honest sometimes I’ll keep a smaller bass to take home and eat but I would never eat anything over 31/2-4 pounds those big girls deserves to go back but it’s something me and my family love to do it eat bass they are actually quite delicious but I have mad for respect for the fish itself! I shave also gotten shamed for eating bass witch isn’t right I understand bass are a games fish but there is no harm in eating one very once a in a while.
