WHY Does this Lure WORK so WELL in SPRING!!! (SWIMBAIT + NED Rig Fishing)

My buddy Caleb from @BassQuest came to Florida to do some fishing and search for giant bass! Well after a day of catching a ton of fish I busted out the Ned Rig on these spring bass and found a huge fish basically slow dragging the bait nearly not moving it. The Ned Rig and finesse fishing techniques like the drop shot rig Caleb was casting are perfect spring fishing lures for bass that are moving up to prespawn and the spawn. We also got some fish to eat swimbaits on the new GOAT Locked Up head which was super cool!

Make sure to give @BassQuest a sub and watch his insane Lake Chickamauga giant bass fishing videos!!!

  1. First off, love your content my man. You know your stuff, and I love how you have no problem sharing it with your fans. That’s real passion right there. Secondly, would love to see you break down lake Seminole or lake eufaula. I think you’d really enjoy those fisheries. Keep up the good work man

  2. Mikey, I noticed that you aren’t using the “fish reveal “ feature on your downscan. I use it and those fish show up a lot better than little white dots. Curious what your thoughts are on this.

  3. I have caught most of my largest bass on finess baits like the ned rig with 8 pound test. several 6 and 7 pounders last year with a ned rig and 8 pound test for me it is a blast to land a big fish on light line and tackle.
