The only thing for me is the hook up ratio… Otherwise they definitely get plenty of hits. I'll have to try trimming them.

My problem with fishing a frog is hookups. I've boiled em. I've bent the hooks up. I've trimmed the legs. I use a heavy rod with braid. Still I have a hard time hooking them.
I'm definitely going to use a topwater bait with trebles in open water.
Can you do a video on tech posing a worm hook. I do it but still seem to get hung up constantly. I must be doing it wrong…great channel!!

I didnt think anyone hated frogs. Hands down my favorite way to fish
Even with the wind today my brother and I fished a pond with mixed results. Bass were slurping at the frog both in open areas and shoreline grass mats. My brother has decent hook up ratio to strike but I'm miserable on everything except the discontinued Strike King grass frog 🐸. They just preferred spinnerbaits and swim baits with the chop on the water.
I tried fishing frog in a slow river current without any luck. I cast around bridge pillar, over grass bed down river and just let it sit there in current. Grass bed only 70 feet out from the bank on the mouth of the Nashwaak River here in Fredericton. I can cast past the grass bed
I do t think I could associate with someone who didn’t enjoy fishing a frog !! I don’t need that kind of negativity in my life
I’m not a big fan of frogs because I just can’t get them to walk effectively, I can walk spooks just fine but walking frogs eludes me.
I know no one that hates a frog. If you don't love the frog you can just get out Read in the style of old Southpark
