What’s Happening Roland?

This is the update pod the first week of July! Right now I’m blue gill fishing but there are big bass here as well for a bonus! Last Friday I was getting ready to fish the big Roland Martin’s Marina tournament , with a 120 boats , with my granddaughter Hilary. We did great with 5 bass for 23.56 pounds. We didn’t win but placed high in the money. Our string had one almost 6 pounds and another a few once’s over 8 pounds. We concentrated on small ledges way offshore using some forward facing sonar and worms . We were also around a lot of bluegill beds. The rest f the week we fished much the with several successful guide trips!
