For the longest time I wondered why so many different lures were called swimbaits but looked so different. I cracked the code! Ha ha.

a little diddy about swim baits, whats your favorite?
Bearking makes excellent baits and the price is right.
I mean from my expirience here in Norway online those hard bait with joints are swim baits, the soft ones you showed we call well soft baits, or any soft plastic lure is a softbait, but the padde tails or curly tails for example are shads, always confuses my brain when americans reffer to soft baits as swimbaits.
*from China
Hey mate, how's the swim action?
The SwimBaits from Bearking are trash. From 6 Bait only 2 work good because the eyelet is crooked in the bait. The other Baits of them are good.
At the time of this comment 1/7/21 says delivery date before 4/21/21 lol be prepared for that
Ide say thay the soft plastic luers are swim baits and the hard jointed plastic ones are glide baits
Those last ones are fake mega bass islides
I thought that other Carl guy said you sold out to China what are you doing buying stuff from Japan
megabass islide knockoffs ? sorta the the dark sleeper copy. def need a few.
I used smaller versions of BearKing soft plastic swim baits from 50mm to 120mm sizes for Trout and bass. Truthfully they last longer than and hold up better than soft American baits with exception of E-Laztech ones. They do swim different but still work well even in really cold water. I used them on one small lake with ice forming in the shallows. I would cast them onto the ice and let them drop off the edge of the ice. I caught both Bass and Trout using micro size ones on sunny afternoons. I would expect the ones you bought to do what others do for less cost. To my thinking; once you reach 5 to 6-inch size swimbaits you are in the low end of the giant swimbait world. I got sucked in on swimbait rods and reels along with a bunch of others like you. The ones I used most were 8-inch boot tail copies of Huddleston’s from guess where. I didn’t use any this year; last year I tossed those 5-ounce rubber tunas every time my boat was in the water. For all my devotion I caught one big bass (6# plus) on one. The same day I caught another 6-plus bass on a smaller 5-inch Miyagi Swimmer sold by Beast Coast. I did catch two monster Muskies and four smaller ones on Charlie the tuna. The Musky; I knew where she lived was the one I tricked with Charlie. The year prior that thing T-Boned a 15-inch bass I caught on a drop shot rig and wouldn’t let go till I tried to grab it with my hand. It was 46-inches long and bottom out my scale so I don’t know what it weighed; but it was freak of nature. Musky die real easy so, I slid her in the water and as she swam off, I gave her the finger. There bitch; whose your Daddy now! For time spent fishing those things tends to suck.
Those look fantastic, Joe. I can't figure out why the magnets don't hold the hook with the point sticking towards the rear? 😀 Swimbaits can be a lot of things. Glides have one joint. Swimbaits have multi joints? lol.. Thanks
Good question. For me a swimbait is any of the Soft plastic fish replicas (Storm, Berkeley, Megabass, Dark Sleeper, Live Target ect) Then you have Glide baits IE The S Waver, AC Plug, Castiac Baits Trout basically anything that "glides" through the water hard or soft. Everything else is just a paddle tail plastic baits to me Like Pulse minnow, Keitech Swing baits, Yum swimmer or baits like the Creme shads. Good video as usual and I think this one will get various answers depending on their personal preferences as well.
