Ok I picked up this bait the other day and I can say the watermelon red is the way to go because as far as I know there aren't too many ponds that have shad in them. Works phenomenal and caught 2 fish within 5 cast and then a bunch more after. So overall the bait is great I just don't think that was the right color to use in a pond..
