My buddy (Jason) and I fished a tournament on Sam Rayburn and we ended up winning but when we told people how we caught them no one believed us. It was a MKF style event where you weigh every fish over a pound. It was just after the spawn and most people thought the fish were out deep which they were but a storm was blowing through and caused us to go shallow. We ended up smashing them shallow and won the event but no one thought you could win this event shallow so we decided to show the video!!!!!!
28 59 Less than a minute
Wind and overcast , why wouldn't they believe shallow
Todd, Jason. Good run guys.
App tourney hmm interesting! Different seems pretty cool ! But ya won ! Shit I'd be surprised that ya didnt ! It's not your first rodeo!! Congrats to both you guys !!
up in canyons
That was really cool, but it wore me out watching! 😂
Im calling bullshit todd , Im just kidding, your title was a little "click baity" tho. Keep up the all the hard work bud.
Nice video man, love the raw footage of just fishing!!! Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Cloud cover and some wind, lights out 👍
I’ve never seen so many rods on your deck. Awesome all day bite. Congrats…
OK what's the secret on the popping perch?? I have two of them and they both start sinking within two feet of walking them.
Good Job Guys!! So many young bass right now. In the next 2 years Rayburn's going to be amazing with good size fish.
Awesome day!!!! Congrats
Smoked them!
Looks like y’all caught the hell out of them. I think y’all beat us buy 20 lbs or so. We had a 2 hr lull on a bad decision. You have to stay on them all day in that type tourney.
are these fish shallow because of weather, cover, or water temp? Where I live the fish will go really shallow when the water gets really hot. Maybe thermocline?
Man I really dig the way you do your videos, alot raw footage so we can see not only what but how, not dr'ed up with a bunch of bs and the way you present the information straight forward with a touch of humor.
Fastbreak fishn haha……..insane how close that was…….nice job boyz
Everybody knows fish dont get shallow in the summertime! 🤣
That was a epic video. Crazy… Crushed them. Closest thing I’ve ever done like that was white bass and hybrids on Douglas Lake in Tn. I’m sure that was a fun tournament for you. Trying to keep up weights and pictures would be insane. Congrats and great job👊👊
That was epic catching numbers like that on different baits., Any chance you fish night tournaments would like to see y'all fish one. Also your thoughts of ever using Garmin Livescope. Thanks for posting up the video I always look forward to each and every one you put out there.
dang y'all slayed 'em! that was way closer than I thought it was going to be! Great content and congrats on the win!
Not all fish are shallow not all fish are deep not all fish go shallow together not all fish go back deep together some take longer an what’s crazy is what I’m learning about crappie I’m fishing in 14ft of water right now caught limit in 45 mins this morning surface temp 90 I’ve was taught all my life when it’s hot they go deep an I’ve been wrong till now an I been killing them in shallow hot water bass are with them to good job on this tournament though
Well once again, it shows why you and JB are VERY tough on most days to beat, also your strategy and ability far exceed most. Can we all get better at this game, you bet, I learn something new every time I am on the water and rely very little on dock talk or other.
Now imagine having to hear " score tracker update" while your not catching them. Would be a fun format.
All fish are computer generated, and photoshopped. Lol! That is a fun day guys. Glad you have it all on video.
That's pretty crazy out of all those fish you caught it still came down to tenths of a pound for the winner! Congrats and what a crazy day. What was it you were doing to your rods/lines at the end of the video? Twisting them around the poles? Can you talk about that? Thanks!
What tournament
