We Went Jetboating for Buffalo River Bass…Then Someone Started Yelling “HELP!”

Today we launched on Tennessee’s beautiful Buffalo River and headed upstream from PuckerWilly’s in search of smallmouth, largemouth, and whatever else the river wanted to give us.

The fishing started with plenty of rock bass, followed by smallmouth and a late largemouth, but this trip became about more than just catching fish. Along the way, we met paddlers, talked with people enjoying the river, and helped a kayaker who had become high-centered and was calling for help.

That is one of the things I love about river fishing: you never really know what is waiting around the next bend.

Join us for a hot summer day of bass fishing, river exploration, and unexpected moments on one of Tennessee’s most scenic waterways.

Tight lines, and God bless.
