We tried Bass Fishing for the First Time!

Welcome back to G&R Outdoors! 🌿🎣

In this adventure, we set out to try bass fishing for the very first time! As we’re still learning the ropes of fishing on our own, every trip is a chance to learn something new, make mistakes, and hopefully land a fish or two.

Before targeting bass, we spent some time carp fishing and managed to catch a beautiful carp, which definitely helped build our confidence for the day ahead. 🐟

We also put together a beginner-friendly baitcaster setup tutorial, covering the basics of setting up your reel and getting it ready for the water. If you’re new to baitcasters like us, hopefully our experience helps you avoid a few beginner mistakes!
