We Hit Something… HARD! | Gunbower Creek Close Call

Jas and I headed to a brand new section of Gunbower Creek hoping to find a few Murray cod, but the day almost ended before it really began.

Travelling at speed, we struck a submerged object that neither of us saw coming. Thankfully there was no serious damage and, more importantly, nobody was injured.

Once we’d gathered ourselves, we got back to what we came for… chasing Murray cod on one of Victoria’s most iconic waterways.

If you’ve ever wondered what’s hiding beneath the surface of Gunbower Creek, this is a reminder to always stay alert on unfamiliar water.
