We found the PERFECT spot… and still caught nothing Florida fishing

We found the PERFECT fishing spot at Lake Harris in Tavares, Florida — live bait from Ace Hardware, a fellow angler pulling a bass out of the water right next to us, and bites coming in non-stop. So why did we go home with nothing?

In this video, Marcos and I head out to Lake Harris Park and Hickory Point Recreation Park for a full Florida fishing adventure. The conditions looked perfect, the bait was fresh, and another angler right there on the pier proved the fish were biting. And yet… two tiny fish and a torrential rainstorm later, we were soaking wet and empty-handed.

Not every fishing trip goes as planned, and this one definitely didn’t. But we’re taking you along for the full experience: the highs, the lows, the tiny fish, and the Florida weather doing what Florida weather does.
