Summer bass fishing can be a tricky puzzle to solve… Cornell and I decide to test out our skills against a field of anglers at a tournament held on Lake Octuraro in Pennsylvania. We had a game plan in mind, which consisted of early morning topwater action, followed by pitching at shaded targets, and finally fishing deep when the sun peaked. The day didn’t go quite like we had planned, but we still caught some quality fish, learned more about the lake, and had a blast competing xD

Just a bit west of there is muddy run resivoir. It costs 4 dollars to launch a boat, but it's a great spot for big bass.
