Although the fishing wasn’t prolific, the adventure was memorable. We learned the hard way how much of a grind it can be to catch Largemouth Bass during the cold of winter. When we purchased the tickets to Texas, the weather appeared to be warm and sunny. When we arrived a massive cold front rolled in and the temperature didn’t get above 40 all weekend. To say the least, it was cold.

Regardless of the grind, the memories made it all worth it.
