I sat on Lake Zurich in 2004 and watched the sun go down while playing a song I wrote a month before, which caused me to stop playing and say, wow… cuz the song was about sitting on a lake watching a sunset.
And México bass fishing is awesome. The ejido community outside my town in Mexico just fenced off the nearby lake after there were two murders out there… But I caught over 70 bass on the lake in one day of fishing two years ago.
Bass, including big bass, are found dead or rescued if discovered in time, due to having a large bluegill, tilapia, or even a big crappie lodged in their mouths, is fairly common here in Florida. I've seen it quite a few times myself down here. Last time, was early spring of 2017, I watched another angler in a nearby boat scoop up a 7.5 lb bass that was flopping on the surface with a big crappie. It took him several minutes, but he was finally able to remove the crappie and the bass swam away after being revived. The crappie had already died. I'm convinced this happens all over the South…….so no, ya don't have to go to places like Mexico to witness such things. Ya just have to be on the right bodies of water often enough.
