Warmwater FLY FISHING in a CREEK [BASS & PANFISH]

In this episode, I am back with my fly fishing equipment at a local creek in late summer to work on my fly cast and hopefully catch some fish. While I know many of you are subscribed to my channel for fishing with conventional equipment, I plan to continue playing with the fly rod when I think it will give me an advantage.

Fly fishing is just another method for catching fish with an artificial lure; after all that’s what a fly is! In fact it’s one of the oldest types of artificial lure, with records going back thousands of years. While fly fishing will never be a major focus on Cross Country Bank Angler, I think the challenge is exciting and it can perform well when a very natural and delicate presentation is needed in order to convince the fish to bite. So come along with me as I go fly fishing in one of my local creeks and catch redbreast sunfish and largemouth bass.

“Exploration is the most natural thing you can do.”
