  1. You guys do realize that Randy has caught about 4 fish in the last 10 years, and without a YouTube channel focused almost solely on FFS drama he’d be a greeter at Walmart?

  2. From Rick Clunn Professional Angler
"Before you judge his youth or criticize his fishing methods, educate yourself on his journey. He is an incredible young man.
I witnessed a lot of amazing things this weekend, but I’m always disgusted by the hateful comments people make on posts when it comes to questioning anglers talent due to FFS use. He found the fish, he executed and performed to perfection…end of story. Congratulations sir, you are a Bassmaster Classic Champion!"

The godfather of BASS has spoke.

  3. One huge problem with the lack of attendance at the weigh in was that the vendor expo was at a different venue 10 minutes away. Parking was $20+ for venues. The weigh in was at Dickies Arena where the expo was at the convention center 3 miles away. Last time it was all at Dickies Arena. Bad logistics for full attendance.

  4. Wait a guy said if you’re getting triggered by these videos guy makes 0 sense considering the videos are made by someone who’s whole identity is making videos of being a triggered snowflake, so FFS or not FFS y’all both getting triggered by each other.

  5. I’ve been bass fishing for over 30yrs and took many years to learn water temp, color, structure, lure selection and so on….. I think that ffs is the PED of fishing….it does give anglers an advantage over anglers who don’t use it. I mean seriously pros, real pros shouldn’t have to use it… these are the guys who are influencing our youth to fish. Hearing a pro say they can’t catch fish if they don’t see them was unsettling. To me fishing is about doing your homework on a body of water learning what conditions are gonna dictate how the fish bite….. that’s fishing…..

  6. FFS is like deer hunting using a drone with a gun attached to it and shooting them while they bed and sleep. You've always been right from day 1 Randy! These trust fund babies spending daddies money on FFS and then using mommy's phone to to get on the internet and defend their lack of skill and privledge. Sending love from Minnesota!🫡

  7. Randy, to me.. you’re a damn idiot & do nothing but try to cause drama! There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with FFS. People who say, we who had it can’t catch fish without it. Maybe those people are jealous and can’t afford it. FFS doesn’t make a fish bite. Quit crying or quit watching it all together..

  8. if you're going to blame FFS for causing the lack of viewership. Go look up the decline of live viewership for all sports, it's nothing to do with "watching a guy stare at a screen all day" it's the fact y'all don't have the same attention span you used to back in the hay days before the years of doom scrolling short form content at such a high pace and digital streaming services. Long duration sports like NASCAR, tournament fishing, and even baseball have all seen the worst declines from this. This social conditioning is the same reason something big happens in the news and 2 weeks later everyone forgets and moves on. just look how fast everyone has moved on from the assassination attempt on a former and now current president, or how quickly we've moved on from shutting the world down 5 years ago due to a virus, or a guy opening fire from a Vegas hotel on a crowd of concert goers. Technology is definitely a problem but FFS is the least of it…

  9. This argument against technology is as old as the technology itself its gone on for decades from the first graphs/sonar to gps to 2D to downscan to sidescan to FFS.

If youre going to gripe over it, be about it and include all of it. Just about any of your favorite professionals in the history of the sport have been using technology to enhance a competitive advantage.

Either this gets worn out to the point where it dies in time or a bunch of whiners get their way and it just becomes whos the best at playing pin the tail on the donkey, what other professional sports do we blindfold conpetetitors?
Like I said if youre going to oppose FFS so hard, you better not be a hypocrite and oppose all forms of graphs and technology.

  10. For those of us who actually attended the Classic, I would say the experience most people had was positive and an enjoyable weekend filled with real conversations with fellow anglers and outdoorsman. There was tons of people there and a lot of variety for whatever kind of angling you like to do. It’s not all doom and gloom if you get out of the comments section of any fishing page.

  11. How does an 18 to 22 year old angler afford a boat that is fully rigged and transportation and overhead costs? HOW? Most guys sleep in their vans or trucks and scrape together money from many sources to just pay entry fees and gas. That was me in the 1970s and 1980s. Just hoping for a break and praying my boat or tow vehicle would not break down. I just don't get it. A $100K boat plus electronics. I had a full time job the whole time. I have been predicting the end of BASS for several years.
