Very good safe venue especially of a night you never loose sight of the prom due to the street lighting.
Good Smooth hound sessions during July and August of a night.
The fishing in June and September is a bit more hit and miss.

The reason this section is so good on small tides is the water from the
rock channel cut right through tis section of beach and it also holds water further in and close to the prom wall compared to the main New Brighton stretch further to the right as you look out at sea.

I have fished this section for getting on for 8 years now and its been a very steady and consistent venue for good quality Smooth hounds.
BUT CASTING AT DISTANCE IS A VERY BIG ADVANTAGE.
you will catch at a closer range but the fishing will tend to be just the odd fish and with long periods of time in-between catches.
